Hi, problem no 2! The other day while overtaking on a duel carriageway, the car 'hiccuped' and the check engine light came on. The car drove perfectly for the rest of the journey (approx 150 miles) and for the next few days until I had a chance to plug it into my laptop. The stored faults were egr - insufficient flow and a turbo pressure fault.
4. Engine problems. Most Fiat cars come with engine issues. The Fiat Doblò is not an exception. Some of the notable engine issues with this model are slow starting, loud tapping from the engine, and sudden overheating. These issues can be fixed as long as you fix the primary causes. Slow start is normally caused by a damaged or worn-out
The famous 1300 1.3 CDTI fit found in a Fiat Doblo van can have many faults from the annoying Timing Chain Rattle to the Timing chain Failure. When the Timing does begin to rattle, it usually wears through the timing cover and guides causing bottom end failure. If this does happen you will hear a metallic engine knock / engine knocking. In this

You'll need cables from another 1.9jtd they differ depending on gearbox and engine configuration, you can use EPER at the top of the forum to look up the part numbers for these parts. Autoelectro has experienced this scenario on starter motors fitted to the Fiat Doblo application. The vehicle can suffer from slow starting, but it is not the starter motor that is causing this problem; it is caused by the engine’s main earth wire to the chassis being corroded. The damage triggers a poor connection and results in excessive

I own a Fiat Doblo Dynamic 1.9JTD Estate Diesel Recently I have noticed that when moving from stationary i.e. from Traffic lights, or out of a junction, roundabouts etc. the car can sometime lack severe power for a few seconds before returning to normal. The car has been recently serviced
The 1.6-litre diesel engine is also disappointing. It’s all too easy to catch the turbo off-boost, leaving you reaching for a lower gear. 2nd Fiat Doblo 1.6 Multijet Eleganza - currently
2. Find the cap of the AdBlue® tank. The cap is next to the fuel filler cap, but in some models it could be in the engine compartment. 3. Fill the AdBlue® tank. You can fill up using a filling pump, can or bottle. Remember always to fill the tank with at least 5 litres of AdBlue ® If AdBlue ® spills out of the filler neck, clean the area
Answered by Dan Powell. We’ve not had any reports of engine or gearbox problems with the 1.6-litre diesel. However, if buying used, I’d recommend a post-2016 van as this will benefit from the mid-life facelift with improved diesel engines, better handling and high levels of kit fitted as standard.
Points. 4. Mar 3, 2009. #1. Hi, I have a 2003 Doblo 1.6 fuel that has done about 120.000 kms. Lately when starting in the morning (I live in a rather cold part of Italy) it is difficult to put the gear in reverse. And shifting gears seems a bit more difficult. Then, when the engine is warm it goes better.
